A share of the event’s proceeds supports Audacy’s long-term partner, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The AFSP provides education, bereavement support, advocacy, and community-based programs. Their ongoing public service campaign, “Talk Away the Dark,” aims to raise awareness about identifying the warning signs of suicide and engaging in meaningful conversations to connect individuals with help.

Audacy’s We Can Survive event followed the annual “I’m Listening” broadcast,” which featured engaging conversations on mental health resources and the importance of open communication with celebrities and medical professionals.

Hosted by Carson Daly, radio personality and co-host of NBC’s “TODAY” and “The Voice,” alongside Audacy’s nationally syndicated Country host, Katie Neal, the special provided a safe space for those grappling with mental health challenges. The broadcast was aired across Audacy’s portfolio of stations, emphasizing the lifesaving benefits of open dialogue surrounding mental health.
