NBC and Peacock Average 22.3 Million Viewers for Sunday Night Football

The game peaked at 25.1 million viewers.

Everywhere you look, big viewership numbers are happening for football with the NFL leading the way. This past weekend’s Sunday Night Football game was no different for NBC and Peacock, as the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens averaged an audience of more than 22 million. The game peaked at 25.1 million viewers.

The Ravens ran away with the game, winning 35-10.

Sunday Night Football has been on a tear to open the season. It has averaged more than 20 million viewers in each of the first five games. That makes it the best start to open a season since 2015.

Sunday Night Football will be in Pittsburgh next week as the Steelers host the Dallas Cowboys. The following two weeks afterwards will both see New York teams with the Giants hosting Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals followed by Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets traveling to Pittsburgh.
