Izzy Gutierrez was a guest on Jonathan Zaslow’s Zaslow Show 2.0 on the BLEAV Network and said he is now with Meadowlark Media. The former Miami Herald reporter and ESPN personality said it isn’t that he didn’t tell anyone what he has been up to, it’s that nobody asked.
“I think you’re breaking news,” Gutierrez told Zaslow. “Nobody’s really asked me where I’m working these days because I haven’t been with ESPN since July and starting with Meadowlark now. So, I guess this is Jonathan Zaslow on the breaking news beat.”
“Alright, this is a breaking news show today then,” Zaslow said. “So, what’s the deal then? So, you’re working for Meadowlark now, that’s your gig. Now we’re telling everybody, yeah?”
Gutierrez replied, “You can tell everybody, if you want a title, no title. Nope, that’s not how Meadowlark Media works. I’m here, we’ll figure it out.”
Zaslow then asked, “If I were to ask you, I’ll just ask you now, what do you do for Meadowlark Media? You gotta have a response. So, what do you do for Meadowlark Media?
Gutierrez said, “I do have a response, and the response is that’s my information to know and everybody else’s to find out.”
