Beasley Media Group has announced that its Charlotte stations KISS 95.1, Power 98, Country 1037, V 101.9, and K104.7 will host an event to gather supplies for those impacted by Hurricane Helene in the Carolinas.
The supply drive is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8th, starting at 6 am from the Beasley Media Group Studios at 1520 South Blvd in Charlotte. Donations will be collected for the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Airport, which will then distribute the supplies to those in need.
Listeners can support the relief effort by bringing essential items such as baby wipes, baby formula, bug spray, and cleaning supplies. For a full list of requested items, please visit the station websites. Please note that used clothes, glass bottles, and flammable items will not be accepted. Additionally, consider making monetary donations to the American Red Cross through the station’s websites.
“We’re excited to use the power of local radio to help our neighbors after this tragic disaster,” said Beasley Media Group VP of Music & Entertainment and Charlotte Operations Manager John Reynolds. “We look forward to getting them the items that they need during this difficult time.”
