BJ Shea Departs Mornings At KZOK Seattle After Just Nine Months

In a surprising turn of events this weekend, BJ Shea has revealed his departure from the morning show at KZOK Seattle after a brief nine-month tenure.

Shea shared this statement to his social media followers.

“Hey all, just wanted to let you know that I am no longer on KZOK. I can’t comment any further at this time… Stay tuned.”

Shea, a longtime fixture in the Seattle market, joined KZOK in January and arrived from crosstown KISW. He had been in KISW from January 2006 until last year.

Following the retirement of Danny Bonaduce, he joined incumbent co-host Sarah Schiller at KZOK.

Shea began his career in Boston with additional stops in Rochester, NY, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Jacksonville.
