In early September 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland Brand Manager Andy Roth was named the new Director of Programming for Sports Radio 680/93.7 The Fan in Atlanta. Roth had run programming for the station since 2011. Now, Keith Britton who was the Assistant Brand Manager has been promoted to the top spot by Audacy.
Britton started out as a producer with the station and was elevated to the Assistant Brand Manager position in May 2019. He spent more than five and a half years under Roth’s tutelage.
“Keith’s deep understanding of the station, his passion for sports radio, and his proven leadership make him the ideal person to drive The Fan’s continued success,” said Jeff Miller, Senior Vice President, Market Manager and Director of Sales, Audacy Cleveland in a release. “Keith has played an integral role in shaping the station’s identity over the years, and we look forward to seeing him grow in this new position.”
“I’m humbled and excited to lead this radio station and our incredible staff. Having been here since the station flipped to sports in 2011, it’s been a phenomenal experience to help build a strong foundation with unlimited potential,” said Britton. “There are big shoes to fill in this position, and I want to personally thank Andy Roth for his endless mentorship, former market manager Tom Herschel, current market manager Jeff Miller, and operations manager Chase Daniels. This opportunity is one that I’ve looked forward to for a long time and one that I will value and approach with enthusiasm every day to help build the legacy of Audacy Cleveland.”
The 92.3 The Fan weekday lineup Britton will oversee includes The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima in morning drive, followed by Baskin & Phelps with Andy Baskin and Jeff Phelps followed by Afternoon Drive on The Fan with Nick Wilson. Wilson was working with Dustin Fox who recently left the station after 13 years to join the ‘Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show.’
