KSL Newsradio afternoon host Boyd Matheson is entering his final days with the Salt Lake City news/talk station.
Matheson — who serves as host of Inside Sources, which airs from 1-3 PM — shared that he will depart the station for other professional opportunities.
“Working at KSL has been an incredible journey,” said Matheson. “I am grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the relationships I’ve built here and look forward to applying some of the things I have learned in my next chapter. It has been my privilege to get to engage with the remarkable people of Utah and I will be forever grateful for the interactions and conversations I had with so many.”
In addition to hosting the daily afternoon show on KSL Newsradio, Matheson also moderates the Sunday Edition program for KSL 5 TV.
“Throughout his tenure, Boyd has been a daily voice of reason tackling the complex issues of our time and providing thoughtful analysis and insights for our audiences,” added Bonneville International Chief Content Officer Ruth Todd, Chief Content Officer for Bonneville International.
“His hard work and genuine passion for making a difference in the world has been inspiring to both colleagues and the community, and he will be greatly missed,” Todd concluded.
Matheson’s final day with the Bonneville International news/talk station will be Friday, November 8th.
