Four-time NBA Champion Draymond Green and Fox Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz announced the launch of a new weekly football show, Why Is Draymond Green Talking About Football? With Jordan Schultz. The show airs each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET on Instagram Live (@moneygreen & @JordanSchultz) ahead of Thursday Night Football on Amazon’s Prime Video.
A release about the show says it will feature, “Schultz and Green bouncing their diverse perspectives on football and sports off each other to create a unique combination of insight, analysis and perspective.” Following the live show, clips will be shared across the hosts social media platforms.
“Those who know me know I’ve loved football since I was a little kid,” said Green in a release. “To this day, I love watching football even more than I love watching basketball. A very fun part of this show for me is getting to see the inside work of an insider that I don’t often get to see as a player. I’m excited for people to hear our diverse perspectives coming together to talk football.”
Schultz, who recently signed with FOX Sports to become an NFL Insider for the network, and Green, who also hosts The Draymond Green Show, will preview the week’s upcoming games, recap major storylines and more. The two will also be joined by current and former players from the NFL, NBA and college football. The show says it plans to have a few unexpected guests as well, which could be CEOs, entrepreneurs, celebrities, personalities, or icons who love football.
“I’m excited about this show because I think football fans will quickly fall in love with Draymond’s passion for the game and his perspective as an elite athlete,” said Schultz. “I learn something about the game every time I talk to him and I know fans will too. It’s been fascinating to learn about the lens that he watches football with. Listeners are going to have fun and learn something about the game when they tune in.”
