Fox News has announced plans to host Republican nominee Donald Trump for a town hall event next week hosted by Harris Faulkner.
On Wednesday, October 16th, Trump will sit down with Faulkner in Cumming, Georgia for a pre-taped event in front of an audience comprised of only women to discuss the issues most important to female voters.
According to Fox News polling, the top issues impacting female voters are the economy, abortion, immigration, and health care.
“Women constitute the largest group of registered and active voters in the United States, so it is paramount that female voters understand where the presidential candidates stand on the issues that matter to them most,” said Faulkner. “I am looking forward to providing our viewers with an opportunity to learn more about where former President Trump stands on these topics.”
Fox News asserts it has a standing offer to Democratic nominee Kamala Harris to participate in a similar-style event, and has continually offered her that opportunity since she accepted the party’s presidential nomination in August.
