The year-long “Opry 100” celebration is set to honor the individuals and music that have solidified the Opry as a hallowed institution in the Country music genre since its inception on WSM Radio in 1925.

“This centennial is not just a look back—it’s a celebration of the future of country music and the artists who continue to shape its story,” said Dan Rogers, SVP & Executive Producer of the Grand Ole Opry. “Most importantly, we are grateful to the fans, artists, employees, Nashville and the entire country music community who have helped us reach this special moment. We can’t wait for everyone to join us for what will be an unforgettable year.”

“Opry 100” is set to kick off a series of special events next year, starting with a performance by the Country Music Hall of Famer and the Opry’s longest-serving member, Bill Anderson, at the Ryman Auditorium on Jan. 3.

In 2025, the Grand Ole Opry will welcome 100 artists making their debut, with breakout star Shaboozey kicking off the series on Jan. 18. To mark this historic occasion, an international show will take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall in the fall.

The upcoming celebration in 2025 will feature the “Opry 100 Greatest Songs” as determined by fans. The event will also include “Opry 100 Honors” shows, paying tribute to legends such as Roy Acuff, Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Patsy Cline, Charlie Daniels, Little Jimmy Dickens, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe, Minnie Pearl, Charley Pride, Porter Wagoner, Hank Williams, and Tammy Wynette. A portion of ticket sales will go towards benefiting the Opry Trust Fund.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, the Grand Ole Opry has partnered with Abrams to release the inaugural book featuring each Opry member and their invaluable contributions to the institution, as narrated by the artists themselves. Penned by Craig Shelburne, the highly anticipated “100 Years of Grand Ole Opry” is now open for pre-orders and is slated to be officially released on April 15. The book will be available at various retailers nationwide, on the Opry 100 website, and as an exclusive edition at Target, featuring additional bonus content.
