iHeartMedia has relocated Variety Hits “104.1 The Spot” from New Orleans to the Baton Rouge market and introduced Adult R&B station “104.1 The Vibe.”

iHeartRadio has relocated Variety Hits “104.1 The Spot” from New Orleans to the Baton Rouge market and introduced Adult R&B station “104.1 The Vibe.”

Branded as “Baton Rouge’s R&B and Back in the Day Jams,” the station features Premiere Networks’ Steve Harvey Morning Show and Keith Sweat Hotel at night.

In August 2021, Hurricane Ida destroyed the 2000-foot tower used by 104.1 and Cumulus Media Alternative “Alt 92.3” WZRH, triggering a multi-facility shift involving six stations in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Concurrently, iHeartMedia has finalized relocating Rock “103.7 The Fox” Hattiesburg, MS, to the New Orleans market.

The station is stunting with an all-Halloween format as “Halloween 103.7,” New Orleans Halloween station. The station imaging features Halloween jokes interspersed between Halloween spooky music and hits like, “Witchy Women,” “Thriller”, and more.
