Last week, Buck Sexton appeared on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. After serving as a panelist, the company he co-owns with Clay Travis has been the subject of a negative campaign, the duo revealed.
During the nationally syndicated Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, Travis shared that constant negative reviews have been commonplace for Crockett Coffee, the company the pair own together.
“After Buck went on Bill Maher, we are getting attacked like crazy,” said Travis. “The left-wingers who got confronted with facts are angry. They’re trying to give us one-star reviews, and you guys are lining up and saying ‘We’re not going to stand for it.'”
Travis then shared that he’s giving autographed copies of his latest book, “American Playbook”, to those who use a special promo code and purchase coffee from the company.
“It’s gratifying to see how well our audience has our back when we get attacked,” Travis stated.
“We are truly under assault from the communists,” Sexton added. “They are trying to spam us. They are trying to undermine us. And they’re trying to shut us down.”
After making the comments, Travis took to social media Wednesday morning to note that things have changed dramatically since making the comments on their Premiere Networks show.
“I would like to publicly thank the left-wingers trying to boycott Crockett Coffee after Buck Sexton’s Bill Maher show appearance. The past two days are the best sales in company history,” he shared. “How can I get more left-wingers to boycott everything I do? You can’t even buy this kind of advertising, it’s pure gold,” he added in another post. “They don’t even come after me anymore. I’m America’s Sweetheart. I need more of their anger.”
