Scott Spezzano and Sandy Waters, co-hosts of the 98.9 The Buzz Morning Show, are celebrating a significant milestone in Rochester, NY, radio with their 25th anniversary on air.
In celebration, the station will hold a special invite-only morning show event at the Geva Theatre on Friday (10/18) from 6 to 9 am (ET).

In a joint statement, the duo said, “It seemed like a blink of an eye, but 25 years of being able to wake up and engage our listeners has been so much fun. First on 98PXY and now with the 98.9 The Buzz fam… we’re so blessed.”
The upcoming event will take attendees on a nostalgic journey as Spezzano and Sandy share insights from their 25 years of entertaining listeners with laughter, memorable moments, and special guest appearances.
Mayor Malik Evans will be present to formally recognize October 18 as “Spezzano & Sandy Day” with an official proclamation, adding an element of surprise to the event.
