FOX Sports Sees Best LCS Viewership Since 2019 For Mets-Dodgers Six Game Series

Having teams from New York and Los Angeles competing in the NLCS turned out to be just as good as one would expect for FOX Sports. The network reports the series, which aired on FOX and FS1 averaged 5.627 million viewers, making it the most watched LCS since 2019.

The viewership number is up 20% from the 2023 NLCS, and up 21% from 2022.

The postseason on FOX and FS1 is averaging 4.728 million viewers through 6 games of the NLCS, which is up 33% over last year through game 6 of the ALCS. That makes it FOX/FS1’s best MLB postseason to date since 2017.

The clinching Game 6 was seen by an average audience of 6.8 million viewers combined between FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports streaming services. Viewership peaked at 6.973 million between 9 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. ET.

FOX Deportes averaged 340,000 viewers for the game, making it the most watched Game 6 in Spanish Language TV history. The series averaged 199,000 viewers, up 4% over the 2023 ALCS and 67% over the 2022 NLCS.

Additionally, FOX Sports reports the game was the most streamed LCS Game 6 in FOX Sports history with 157,058 average minute audience.

FOX Sports will have coverage of the 2024 World Series. Game 1 between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers will take place on Friday Oct. 25 at 8:08 p.m. ET. If the series were to go to a full seven games, the final game would be played on Saturday Nov. 2.
