Yahoo announced today it has added sports business insider Joe Pompliano to its programming lineup. The Yahoo Finance Sports Report with Joe Pompliano is set to launch later this week on Thursday Oct. 24 and is said to be a weekly show focused on the business side of sports, produced for investors and sports fans.
Pompliano posted on his X account, “I’m partnering with Yahoo to launch a new weekly sports business show! Each week, we’ll cover the most important headlines in sports business along with an interview. The first episode drops on Thursday. See you all there!”
Pompliano is an entrepreneur and investor. He and his four brothers have invested in more than 100 early-stage companies. His Huddle Up substack is subscribed to by more than 120,000 subscribers.
Yahoo says, “Each episode will look beyond the top headlines, analyzing all the need-to-know news in the sports world: the teams, the trades, the billion-dollar deals, and what it all means for companies and investors aiming to score big.”
The show drops each Thursday on Yahoo Finance or all major podcast platforms.
