In September, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) announced a broadcast rights agreement for Altitude Sports with TEGNA for 20 Denver Nuggets games and 20 Colorado Avalanche games to be shown for free over-the-air on Denver’s 9NEWS (KUSA-TV) and My20 (KTVD-TV). At the time, it was said a subscription-based direct-to-consumer platform would be coming soon and today, Altitude+ launched to consumers.
The company says all live Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche broadcasts not designated as exclusive to a national network can be found on the new subscription-based platform, which is also available online.
Subscriptions are priced at $19.95/month within Altitude’s nine-state territory. KSE said versions of Altitude+ for connected smart TV apps such as Roku, Amazon Fire, and Android TV will be available soon.
“When I joined KSE last March, I said the most important thing we can do with Altitude Sports is give it a fresh perspective so that our fans can see our amazing teams and the generational players we are fortunate to have here in Denver,” said Kevin Demoff, KSE President of Team and Media Operations in a release. “Thanks to the leadership and support of Stan Kroenke and Josh Kroenke, our team was able to give our fans an opportunity to watch all Nuggets and Avs games in a variety of ways.”
