Skip Bayless is set to appear on South Beach Sessions alongside Dan Le Batard, the two sports media personalities shared on Wednesday.
In a post to social media, the Le Batard Show shared a photo of Bayless noting that he’d be on the program on Thursday.
Dan Le Batard has been critical of his former ESPN colleague in recent years. At the end of his relationship with Shannon Sharpe on the FS1 show Undisputed, Le Batard argued that the cable channel was “hanging on to a 70-year-old star.” He also said that the Pro Football Hall of Famer “Shannon Sharpe didn’t need Skip Bayless, and he doesn’t need Skip Bayless” to have a career in the industry.
Other previous clashes with The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz discussing Skip Bayless include cast members calling the former ESPN and FS1 host a “disservice to journalism,” among other critiques.
Bayless departed FS1 earlier this year at the expiration of his contract. It will mark the second large sports podcast interview he has conducted since his exit. Earlier this month, he appeared as a guest on the popular Pardon My Take podcast from Barstool Sports.
The South Beach Sessions show from Le Batard is generally not focused on sports as much as it is on the human interest stories collected by sports media or other figures. The podcast bills itself as “one-on-one conversations” that “aren’t the same old, boring sitdowns,” adding that the show often tells stories that leaves “no questions left unanswered.”
