New Country 103.1 West Palm Beach morning hosts Tim Leary and Chelsea Taylor recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a “Mammovan” outside the station, which provided uninsured women with the opportunity to receive mammograms. Additionally, the show featured a tattoo artist specializing in 3D areola tattoos for women post-treatment.
New Country 103.1 General Manager Elizabeth Hamma shared her personal battle with health as she was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in July and has since had a double mastectomy.
Hamma emphasized the urgency of timely screenings for women, stating, “Time matters, so women get going. Getting your mammogram on time is really important.”
