Wave Sports + Entertainment has announced a new podcast which will feature former NFL players and current Thursday Night Football analysts Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth. The new show will be called Fitz & Whit and will drop its first episode on October 28th.
Fitzpatrick and Whitworth who work together at Amazon’s Prime Video also played in the NFL together. They plan to record on Sunday evenings to recap the NFL action “and whatever else is going on in their lives.”
“Whit and I have the best time working on Thursday Night Football each week, so it was a no-brainer to do this show together,” said Fitzpatrick in a release. “We are excited to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at our lives, friendship, and maybe even interview some of our fellow athletes. We look forward to working with the team at Wave to bring this show to life each week.”

Both players retired following the 2021 season and joined Amazon for Prime’s inaugural season carrying Thursday Night Football in 2022.
