Gordon Mays, Mid-West Family Director of Programming & Content and midday host for 95.3 The Bull Rockford, IL, has left the station effective October 25. Mays is leaving for a new opportunity that has not yet been disclosed.
Mays started at WRTB in 2017, became Assistant Program Director in 2019, and was promoted to Program Director and Brand Manager shortly after that. He advanced two years ago to oversee the six-station group in his current role.
Mays began his tenure with the company in 2017 and most recently held a prominent position until early this year. His previous experience includes roles at Rock WYSP and Country WXTU in Philadelphia.
There have been no updates regarding the position’s future at Mid-West Family.
