Joe Rogan After Donald Trump Interview: I’d Be ‘Willing to Talk About Anything Other Than Politics’ With Kamala Harris

"People keep saying she said no. I said I would have a conversation with her like a human being. That's all I want to do. That's literally all I want to do."

Joe Rogan sat down with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump last week, and is now dishing on his hopes of interviewing Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris.

Rogan’s conversation with Donald Trump earned more than 30 million views on YouTube in the first 48 hours after it was released. The comedian was pressed about a potential interview with Vice President Harris, and he was quick to point out it could still happen.

“Kamala Harris has not said yes yet?” guest Bryan Callen asked of Rogan after his conversation with Trump.

“She’s not said no, either,” said Rogan after his interview with the former President. “People keep saying she said no. I said I would have a conversation with her like a human being. That’s all I want to do. That’s literally all I want to do. I want to know what is it like to be (you)? I don’t even give a (expletive) about all the stuff she’s talked about, about policies, and all these different things. We all know your positions. Like, who are you? Just be real. Who are you?”

When the assembled group of guests said that appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience wouldn’t be good for the Democratic nominee, Rogan disagreed.

“I would be willing to talk about anything other than politics. I don’t give a (expletive) who she is. If there were some certain things they didn’t want to talk about? Fine. Fine,” he reiterated. “I don’t care.”

When the other comedians on the show continued by arguing that Harris doesn’t do well in interviews, Joe Rogan defended the Vice President by saying it’s not a natural way to converse.

“It’s a (expletive) up way to talk that no one’s used to doing,” he admitted. “Here’s the way it is: Here’s a question, give me an answer. That’s not a (expletive) conversation. It’s weird, so you’re uncomfortable with your words and you’re trying to get it out right. And then you realize millions of people (expletive) hate you.”
