On a busy sports night on the calendar complete with a Sports Equinox with all four major sports going on at once, FOX, FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports streaming services drew 13.637 million fans on average for Game 3 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. The game peaked at 14.253 million viewers from 9 p.m. ET to 9:15 p.m. ET.
With the combination of over-the-air, Spanish-language viewers and streamers added together, the game beat the Monday Night Football game by a slim margin. Reports say the football game averaged 13.34 million viewers.
Game 4 saw the audience rise to 16.7 million viewers on average while the game peaked at 18.218 million. FOX had 16.275 million viewers alone which made the game the most-watched World Series Game 4 on FOX since 2016 when the game featured the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago Cubs.
Game 4 was up 92% over last year’s Game 4. Through Game 4, the 2024 World Series across all networks is averaging 14.984 million viewers, the best since 2017.
