ESPN College GameDay has continued its hot start to the college football season. Now through 10 weeks, the show is still on pace for its best season ever. For the season to date, the show is averaging 2.2 million viewers tuning in, which is 8% more than last year at this time.
The Week 10 broadcast prior to the Ohio State-Penn State game drew an average of 2 million viewers and averaged 2.5 million viewers in the final hour of the show. The numbers are an increase of 3% from the week 10 game in 2023.
College GameDay will be headed to the SEC this coming weekend as they will broadcast live from ‘Death Valley’ at LSU as they will host Alabama later that night. This will be the second time Alabama has been featured on GameDay this year. Tuscaloosa was the site of the Week 5 broadcast when the Crimson Tide hosted the Georgia Bulldogs.
This will be the 14th time College GameDay has aired from LSU, which is ten less than the leader in that category, Ohio State. The show has been hosted by the Buckeyes 23 times, Alabama is second with 19, followed by Michigan which has hosted 15 episodes.
