But Clay Travis had bigger takeaways, wondering how a network that — in his view — has been so wildly wrong on so many different topics can still receive trust from its viewers.
“How is it possible any person with a functional brain still trusts (MSNBC) after the past nine years? The lies are legion. Very fine people hoax, Russia collusion, Steele dossier, Hunter Biden’s laptop, impeachment, masking, Covid shot efficacy, Biden’s sharp as a tack, Trump’s going to prison. Legit how do you keep going back for more of this? They are wrong on EVERYTHING.”
Despite the criticism the outlet has received in recent days, MSNBC has reason to celebrate. The network was the second-highest-watched cable news outlet during primetime coverage of the 2024 election. For the first time in the network’s history, it topped CNN in total viewership during the primetime hours.
