Omni Broadcasting has announced that it will change the format of Conservative Talk “Freedom 94.3” Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to Classic Alternative effective January 1.
“94/3 XYZ” is set to launch at 9 a.m., offering music centered around “Retro Alternative” from the late 1980s to early 2000s. The station’s core playlist features iconic artists like The Cure, Joy Division, R.E.M., and The Smiths.
Station Manager Rik Wolfe said, “We are incredibly excited about this change. 94/3 XYZ will offer a nostalgic journey through the best of classic and retro alternative music while continuing to engage and entertain our listeners with high-quality content.”
The station will showcase a varied playlist encompassing classic Alternative tracks and lesser-known gems. The programming will include themed shows and special segments that explore subgenres and individual artists.
