iHeartMedia has named Terry Foxx as the new Vice President of News and Content for its Black Information Network.
Terry Foxx takes the role after previously serving as the Director of Talk Programming for the iHeartMedia clusters in San Antonio and Austin, where he oversaw stations like 1200 WOAI, The Ticket 760, and 1300 The Zone. He joined the stations in October 2023 after working as the Director of Programming and Audience at public news/talk station 90.5 KUT in Austin.
“I am thrilled to contribute to the growth and success of BIN: Black Information Network,” said Foxx. “BIN is a vital platform for amplifying diverse voices and delivering trusted, relevant news to our communities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and further strengthen the connection between BIN and the audiences we serve.”
Launched in 2020, the Black Information Network currently features more than 60 affiliates in nearly 50 different markets around the country.
“I am excited to have Terry join BIN: Black Information Network,” added BIN President Tony Coles. “In today’s rapidly changing media landscape, the role of news in shaping public discourse has never been more important. We’re confident his contributions will strengthen our position as a leader in delivering inclusive and impactful news and content to our audiences.”
