Speaking to Variety, Warner Music Group, Sony Music, and BMG have said they are canceling GRAMMY week events due to the Los Angeles wildfires.
BMG wrote in an email regarding the cancellation, “It is with heavy hearts that we announce BMG will no longer host its Pre-Grammy Party on Tuesday, January 28. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the firefighters and first responders in Los Angeles County who are working tirelessly to contain the fires.”
UMG announced on Monday that it is canceling its showcases and GRAMMY after-party for the second year in a row.
Warner made the decision after donating $1 million to the relief efforts.
The GRAMMY awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Crypto .com Arena.
