KUZZ Bakersfield Raises A Quarter Of A Million Dollars For St. Jude

KUZZ Bakersfield hosted its 20th annual radiothon benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising $249,323.

The radiothon was held this past Wednesday and Thursday, with the total exceeding last year’s by more than $10,000.

KUZZ Program Director Brent Michaels told Barrett Media, “We’ve been so lucky for 20 years to broadcast in a community that is so generous and willing to get behind St Jude. We always say we have amazing listeners, and this is just the proof of it. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough.
