Audacy has announced that Chief Financial Officer Rich Schmaeling has resigned his position.
Schmaeling had been with Audacy since he joined in 2017 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2017.
“On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank Rich for his contributions to Audacy,” said Audacy interim CEO and President Kelli Turner. “We are well positioned with the finance team in place.”
The company shared that it will not name an interim CFO in the short term.
The exit of Schmaeling coincides with the radio company emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, which also saw longtime CEO David Field depart the organization.
