Conservative cable news channel Newsmax has seen a ratings surge in recent years, and that was on display in 2024 as the primetime ratings grew 25%, according to figures from Nielsen.
Greg Kelly Reports led the way in total viewership gains in the primetime hours. The program — airing at 9 PM ET — saw an uptick of 47% in 2024 compared to 2023.
The network now holds the fourth spot in the cable news ratings in each daypart and key demographics, trailing Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN.
Outside of primetime, Newsmax saw strong growth for its late afternoon block as The Chris Salcedo Show (+32%), Carl Higbie Frontline (+36%), The Record with Greta Van Susteren (+29%), and Rob Schmitt Tonight (+28%) have all see double-digit growth compared to their 2023 total viewership numbers.
