The Pentagon has been in the midst of reshuffling who does and doesn’t have office space inside the military building. A new report suggests The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show could see a show hosted from the Pentagon in the coming weeks.
Earlier this month, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell hinted at an upcoming invite to the Premiere Networks hosts.
“You all are welcome anytime in the Pentagon press room, or if you want to broadcast from the Pentagon, we will figure out a way to make that,” he said.
A report from Axios’ Sara Fischer says that an official invitation has been extended. Travis has previously said there’s a “good chance” the show will broadcast from the Pentagon, adding that a similar show is likely to emanate from the White House, as well.
The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show broadcasts remotely regularly. The conservative radio duo have often helmed their programs from various studios throughout the country due to speaking engagements, as well as Travis recently broadcasting the show from Israel.
Since the transition to the Donald Trump administration, the Pentagon has informed previous occupiers of office space like NPR, The New York Times, NBC News, and Politico, among others, that they would be shuffled out of the building in exchange for outlets that have been viewed as more friendly to the administration, like the New York Post, OAN, and Breitbart News.
“Each year, one outlet from each press medium—print, online, television, and radio—that has enjoyed working from a physical office in the Pentagon will rotate out of the building to allow a new outlet from the same medium that has not had the unique opportunity to report as a resident member,” a memo from the Department of Defense outlined.
