After just one show, The Anthony Cumia Show has been launched into national syndication with Red Apple Audio Networks.

The show made its debut on 77 WABC on Sunday in the 8-10 PM timeslot. And after inquiries from radio stations, Red Apple Audio Networks has added the show to its growing roster of shows available for syndication.

“I missed radio, and I am thrilled at the interest from radio stations nationwide,” said Cumia. “Radio is a great way to engage with the audience, and now that Red Apple Audio Networks is taking the show national, I can’t wait to connect with listeners in other markets.”

“Radio clearly wants Anthony Cumia, as dozens of inquiries came in asking about syndication,” added 77 WABC and Red Apple Media President Chad Lopez. “We shifted into high gear and moved quickly. One of our advantages at Red Apple Media is that we can swiftly pivot to meet market demand.”

According to metrics from 77 WABC, streaming data showed a 236% increase in usage from the same window on the previous Sunday. Additionally, website traffic rose 82% during the day of the debut, while the station’s app usage rose 96.7% on that same day.

Anthony Cumia has a long history in radio, beginning in 1994 as co-host of the Opie & Anthony show which rose to prominence on terrestrial radio before shifting to SiriusXM in 2004. He exited the company in 2014 and launched his own show through his own subscription-based platform.
