Radio and television personality Matt Pinfield is out of a coma and expected to make a full recovery. The well-known radio and television personality suffered a stroke in January.

Since that time, he has been in ICU until being released in February to a Los Angeles rehabilitation center.

“My radio family includes my listeners, my dear friends and the wonderful radio companies that continue to support me. It means the world to me. I cannot wait to get back to hosting Flashback, KLOS and SoCal Sound.”

Adding, “We were told I might not speak or walk again, and my voice is back, and I am doing five hours of physical therapy a day, and my walking continues to improve. There is nothing like my radio community.  I love you all.”

Pinfield is known for this time hosting “120 Minutes” for MTV, a weekly music show, “New & Improved w/ Matt Pinfield” on KLOS Los Angeles, and Westwood One’s “Flashback.”
