KIRO Newsradio 97.3 has announced that Manda Factor will join Charlie Harger as the new permanent co-host of Seattle’s Morning News.
Factor has more than 35 years of journalism experience. She has spent the past 22 years working as morning anchor at cross-town Northwest Newsradio. Other stops include working at 1190 KEX in Portland as well as serving as a new anchor in Pullman, Bellingham, and Tacoma in Washington state.
During her career, Factor has won multiple Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press Television Radio Association awards.

The pairing of Manda Factor and Harger completes the transition of the venerable morning show. Late last year, longtime host Dave Ross and his morning co-host, Colleen O’Brien, departed the station.
Ross retired after more than 40 years with KIRO Newsradio 97.3. O’Brien stepped away from the station at the same time. Charlie Harger was named as the replacement for Ross in December, and officially began helming the show later that month.
Factor began co-hosting Seattle’s Morning News on Monday morning.
