After departing WTIC 1080 in Hartford last week, Tom Shattuck has a new daily podcast he has unveiled.

The Shot of Shattuck Show debuted on Monday. The former WTIC 1080 host will drop daily episodes of the new podcast.

“There’s too much going on, we can’t miss a beat. So I’m continuing The Tom Shattuck Show as the Shot of Shattuck Show, a 30-minute hit every day.”

The new show from Shattuck comes as an addition to his previous show, Tom Shattuck’s Burn Barrel, which he will continue to produce daily, as well, but with longer episodes and a digital video component accompanying the program.

As for what the content of the show will consist of, Tom Shattuck says it will be very similar to his previous show on the Audacy Hartford news/talk station.

“I will continue covering Connecticut, New England, the country, and the world. There is no time to pause the conversations,” added Shattuck.

Tom Shattuck departed WTIC 1080 last week, with his final show being heard on Friday. He confirmed to Barrett Media that his contract had not been renewed after a four-year stint in middays with the station. The outlet subsequently replaced his timeslot with The Erick Erickson Show, which had previously been heard in nights on a tape-delayed basis.

Barrett Media produces daily content on the music, news, and sports media industries. To stay updated, sign up for our newsletters and get the latest information delivered straight to your inbox.
