ESPN has announced that Vibe Check, its new female-led sports show exclusively airing on Disney+, will be making its debut on Monday, June 30. Following the premiere, new episodes will be available to view on Disney+ every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5 p.m. EST. The program will feature a panel of prominent female voices at ESPN, some of whom will include Elle Duncan, Andraya Carter, Chiney Ogwumike, Monica McNutt and Hannah Storm. Vibe Check will be utilizing the expertise, insight and storytelling abilities to give viewers a new approach to sports driven by perspectives.

The show itself was revealed during The Walt Disney Company Upfront event last month from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, N.Y. Duncan, Carter and Ogwumike appeared on stage together where they discussed the premise of the venture, along with their work on other shows such as WNBA Countdown and the women’s basketball edition of College GameDay. This program is the second exclusive ESPN content offering on Disney+, joining the SC+ daily edition of SportsCenter featuring anchors Randy Scott and Gary Striewski.

“We are incredibly excited to launch this new show, which will provide a powerful platform for the brilliant women at ESPN,” Burke Magnus, president of content at ESPN, said in a statement upon the show announcement last month. “The voices that will be leading this program have long been shaping the sports landscape, and now they’ll have this additional platform to bring their unique insights to the forefront in an even more impactful way for Disney+ subscribers.”

ESPN is preparing to launch its own direct-to-consumer platform this fall that will provide users the option to purchase its networks without a traditional cable subscription. Subscribers to the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ bundle are going to have access to view this show and all content across these streaming platforms. The company is also concurrently launching enhancements within the ESPN App that will give users new features and experiences.
