Country 98.1 KHAK Cedar Rapids morning duo Ryan ‘Brain’ Brainard and Courtlin are adding an eastern Iowa market. Beginning Monday, they will also be heard on K92.3 Oelwein/Waterloo.
The Waterloo market overlaps the Cedar Rapids market, with each station covering the other’s market.
The K92.3 morning slot has been open since Kerri Mac left for K99 Fort Collins, CO. (BMM 5/12)
Brainard has been with KHAK for 30 years, starting as an intern in 1995. He joined the morning show in 1999. Courtlin joined that show in November of 2014. She joined the station from Hot AC 96.9 WBTI in Lexington, MI.
