ESPN is going all-in on Major League Baseball’s biggest summer showcase, announcing an expansive lineup of programming for the 2025 MLB All-Star festivities in Atlanta. The network will once again serve as the exclusive home of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, airing live from Truist Park on Monday, July 14, at 8 p.m. ET.

Veteran play-by-play voice Karl Ravech returns for his ninth consecutive year on the call, joined by analysts Eduardo Pérez and Todd Frazier, along with reporters Buster Olney and Alden González. Frazier’s appearance comes on the 10-year anniversary of his home run derby victory in Cincinnati. Simultaneously, ESPN2 will offer a data-driven alternative with the T-Mobile Home Run Derby: Statcast Edition.

Kevin Brown, Jessica Mendoza, and Statcast Insider Mike Petriello will break down the action using advanced analytics and visual insights.

ESPN’s coverage of the Home Run Derby will begin well before first pitch. Baseball Tonight will air from 4-6 p.m. and again from 7-8 p.m., hosted by Kevin Connors and featuring insights from Jeff Passan, Xavier Scruggs, and Hall of Fame writer Tim Kurkjian.

Earlier in the day, The Pat McAfee Show will go live from the Coca-Cola Roxy, adjacent to Truist Park, on ESPN and streaming platforms, continuing from 2-3 p.m. on digital-only outlets. SportsCenter will also broadcast on-site from 2-3 p.m., with Elle Duncan and Kevin Negandhi returning from 6-7 p.m.

The weekend slate also includes the 2025 MLB Draft Presented By Nike, airing Sunday, July 13, at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN. Ravech will again anchor coverage, joined by Passan, Kiley McDaniel, Pérez, Mendoza, Kyle Peterson, Chris Burke and Scruggs.

As for ESPN Radio, it remains the exclusive national broadcaster for both the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game on Tuesday night. Roxy Bernstein and Doug Glanville will handle Monday’s radio call, while Ravech leads Tuesday’s team with Glanville, Olney, and Kurkjian.

Headlining the Derby field is Atlanta’s own Ronald Acuña Jr., who will have the crowd behind him. He’ll be joined by Seattle slugger Cal Raleigh and 22-year-old Nationals phenom James Wood, with more names expected to join in the coming days.
