WBEN NewsRadio 930 AM has revamped its daily lineup, with a new show featuring Joe Beamer inserted into the Audacy Buffalo news/talk station.
The new lineup for the station began today. Beamer’s program will be heard from 1-3 PM on the station. David Bellavia will now host from 9 AM-1 PM, with Tom Bauerle hosting from 3-6 PM as part of the new lineup.
Beamer isn’t an unfamiliar voice to WBEN listeners. Previously, he hosted the weekly Hardline show, as well as BMaz & Beamer, which had previously aired from 9-10 AM alongside Brian Mazza.
The new lineup now consists of:
5-9 AM: A New Morning with Susan Rose and Brian Mazurowski
9 AM-1 PM: David Bellavia
1-3 PM: Joe Beamer
3-6 PM: Tom Bauerle
6-7 PM: Buffalo’s Evening News
7-8 PM: Will Cain Country
8-11 PM: Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla
To begin his initial show on Monday, Beamer called the opportunity a dream come true.
“I can’t believe we are finally here and finally live,” Beamer said. I’ve been on the air for how long now, filling in for David, Tom, and Sandy, doing special coverage … I do have to say this is awesome and I am very grateful. It’s a little different when your name is on it. You’ve been talking about this day, dreaming about this day. It’s a little different.”
WBEN NewsRadio Brand Manager Lisa Polizzi said the move shows the value of hard work and dedication.
“Hard work really does pay off, and no one proves that more than Joe,” she shared. “Always positive, always hustling. He totally earned this.”
