Electronic Arts and Major League Soccer have announced that EA SPORTS FC Mobile players will be able to stream four select matches from the 2025 MLS regular season directly through the game’s FCM TV portal, marking the first time EA SPORTS has brought live sports broadcasts to fans within its mobile platform. The live simulcasts, made possible through MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, represent the evolving partnership between EA SPORTS FC, MLS, and Apple TV. It also signals a continued push toward immersive, fan-focused innovations in digital football.

The action begins for ESPN SPORTS FC Mobile users this Saturday, May 10, with the MLS Cup 2024 rematch between reigning champions LA Galaxy and the New York Red Bulls.

In addition to watching matches live, players can access the Football Centre — a central hub within the app offering updated content based on global football events. There, users can replay each matchup in-game and participate in a special Showdown Player Exchange tied to the live event.

Moreover, players who tune into the live matches via FCM TV will receive in-game currency as a reward. To further enhance the experience, a free one-month trial of MLS Season Pass will also be available, with details on access and redemption provided in-game.

“This collaboration with EA SPORTS and Apple TV underscores MLS’s commitment to pushing boundaries, innovation, and fan-first experiences,” said Camilo Durana, Executive Vice President at Major League Soccer. “By bringing select live MLS Season Pass matches to EA SPORTS FC Mobile, we’re reaching new and digitally native audiences around the world and continuing to broaden the way we’re building relationships with fans. It’s easier than ever to experience the excitement of MLS, our clubs, our world-class players, and our vibrant supporters.”

Looking ahead, the second live-streamed match will take place on May 17, featuring Atlanta United FC versus the Philadelphia Union. The final two matches will air in September, with matchups to be announced at a later date.
