According to the Miami Herald, 790 The Ticket morning co-host Joy Taylor has an offer to do television work for Fox in Los Angeles. GM for The Ticket Doug Abernathy expects that she will accept the position but she hasn’t given her notice yet.
Taylor, who has teamed with Jonathan Zaslow to provide a highly entertaining morning show in South Florida, hasn’t commented on the situation. She had been working without a contract for the past five weeks and was taken off the air recently in order to try and bring closure to the situation.
Although the signs indicate that Joy may leave to pursue a television career, Abernathy is hopeful to find another role for her to remain involved with the radio station.
