Greg Brady took to Twitter on Friday evening to announce that his partner on The Fan 590’s The Starting Lineup, Elliott Price, had been let go.
Price joined The Fan in Toronto in February of 2017. He was brought in from CFMB 1280 in Montreal when The Fan launched its new morning show featuring himself, Brady, and Hugh Burrill.
Dave Cadeau, program director of The Fan 590 and Rogers Media’s national format director for sports, called Price “an excellent broadcaster with an incredible sports acumen” in a press release. Price’s final day on air at the station was Wednesday. Brady and Burrill will continue in morning drive with addition details about their show being announced at a later date.
Price has been relatively silent on his exit. He issued a simple thank you to his show castmates on Twitter.
