94 WIP Gets New Logo And Positioning Statement

94 WIP is getting a makeover for the summer. Crossing Broad reports that the station has a new logo and branding statement that are both very local. The station is now using the tag line “the best team to talk Philly sports” with a more modern take on the old 94 WIP logo.

The station is the flagship radio partner of the Philadelphia Eagles. WIP is keeping the green, black, and gray color scheme to reflect that fact.

No on-air changes are expected, but the branding update comes in plenty of time to change out any necessary signage at Lincoln Financial Field before the 2019 NFL season kicks off.
