Florida Atlantic has a new home on the radio in South Florida. Hubbard’s 640 the Hurricane has entered a five year deal with the school to become the flagship station for Owls football and men’s basketball. The station will also carry coach’s shows for both sports.
“We’re honored that FAU Athletics and Florida Atlantic Sports Properties Have chosen Hubbard Radio’s cluster of seven stations to help bring the excitement of FAU Football and Basketball to fans across South Florida,” Hubbard’s West Palm Beach SVP/Market Manager Elizabeth Hamma said in a press release.
FAU sports had previously been heard on crosstown rival ESPN West Palm, owned by Good Karma Brands.
