Former Sports Radio 610 morning man Mike Meltser is turning his attention to the digital world. He is launching The Mike Meltser Podcast, a show focused on the intersection of sports and law.
Before getting into radio, Meltser earned a law degree from the University of Houston. He said on Twitter that a podcast combining the two areas is something he has been plotting for a number of months now.
The first episode features a deeper explanation of the concept. There is also an interview with Seattle attorney Jason Cruz. The pair discuss Tom Brady’s efforts to trademark the phrase “Tom Terrific.”
In a Facebook post, Meltser says the show can already be found on a number of podcasting outlets including Stitcher, Spotify, Google Play, and TuneIn. He has submitted the show to iTunes and is awaiting approval before The Mike Meltser Podcast will be available on that platform.
