ACC Network football analyst Mark Richt tweeted that he suffered a heart attack this morning. He is currently in recovery and plans to be in studio this weekend.
Richt, who has been the head football coach at the University of Georgia and the University of Miami, was met with well wishes from colleagues in both the media and the coaching world.
Last week Richt tweeted his excitement over finding one of his favorite treats in the grocery store.
He referenced that tweet in another tweet confirming that he is recovering from his heart attack.
