This one won’t require an apology, but on his second day back from a hiatus, the NBC Sports Philadelphia cameras caught Mike Missanelli making another blunder. Exactly two weeks after cameras showed Missanelli endure a temper tantrum, throwing his headphones at the wall, the 97.5 The Fanatic afternoon host dumped an entire cup of coffee on himself.
During his return show on Monday, Missanelli offered an emotional apology for his May 26 tirade and noted he’s working on keeping his temper in check. One day later, Missanelli showed off the ability to keep his cool even while pouring a hot cup of coffee in his lap.
Missanelli’s not alone, since sports leagues were shutdown nearly three months ago, the radio host is the second sports personality to pour a cup of coffee on himself during live television. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo being the other.
