Jason Martin Gets Multi-Year Extension At 104.5 The Zone

2020 has presented a lot of challenges for the sports radio industry, it’s great to still see talent thriving. Not long after landing a prime-time spot as morning co-host of Nashville’s 104.5 The Zone, Jason Martin announced he signed a new multi-year deal with the station.

In August, Martin took over The Zone’s morning show, an admittedly bittersweet moment for him as he was tasked with replacing the timeslot’s longtime hosts Kevin Ingram and Mark Howard. Martin expressed great gratitude for both hosts, who he said were very helpful to his career.

Martin joined The Zone in 2018, after previously working as a producer and on-air contributor for FOX Sports Radio’s Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis, which originates from Nashville. For the last two years Martin hosted the 6pm weeknight timeslot for 104.5, until this past August when he moved to morning drive.

Earlier this month, Tennessee native and retired NFL offensive lineman Ramon Foster joined Martin as his morning show co-host. Now it looks like the duo will be a long-term fit on 104.5 The Zone.
