Laura Ingraham will remain a significant figure at Fox News as the anchor inks a multi-year deal to with the network.
Ingraham’s contract extension means that her show, “The Ingraham Angle,” will stay in the primetime slots alongside Tucker Carlson’s and Sean Hannity’s shows.
Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced the multi-year deal through a press release but didn’t get into specifics into the contract.
“Laura’s one-of-a-kind expertise and powerful commentary has provided an important voice to millions of Americans as a staple of our primetime lineup, and we are thrilled to feature her insightful perspective across our platforms for many years to come,” Scott said.
According to the network, the Fox News host is experiencing her best year when it comes to ratings as “The Ingraham Angle” had its highest-rated year, averaging 3.6 million viewers and 650,000 in the key demographic. Furthermore, she is the most-watched 10 p.m. host and most-watched female host in cable news history.
