Newsmax has made it known that they’ll be referring to Joe Biden as “president-elect.” Still, one conservative media outlet will refrain from doing so until Congress certifies the Electoral College vote. One America News will refrain from using the term as the network believes that voter fraud took place.
“One America News will not recognize Biden as the President-elect as all of our investigations indicate there was fraud in voting. There will be no decision until Jan. 6, 2021,” OAN CEO Robert Herring tweeted.
The network isn’t alone on this stance, as many Republicans are holding off on recognizing Biden’s victory as Trump has challenged the outcome in court. However, some conservative leaders such as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) have congratulated Biden on his victory for the first time. In recent months, OAN, along with Newsmax, has received a push from President Trump as an alternative source to Fox News after the network decided on calling Biden the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election.
